Farmers' Market Associate at KCC

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Farmers’ Market Associate to manage our booth at the top rated KCC Farmers’ Market in Honolulu! You will be responsible for setup and break down every 1st & 3rd Saturdays of each month. If you are self motivated and enjoy sharing quality products with customers, apply today!

Requirements:

• Reliable and punctual

• Excellent customer service skills

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean driving record

• Access to insured mid-to-large sized vehicle to transport products and booth materials to/from market (preferred)

• Prior experience in retail, farmers markets, or local food and agriculture (preferred)

• Japanese speaking is a plus!

Responsibilities:

• Transport products & materials to/from Wahiawa and KCC market.

• Set up and break down of market booth.

• Handling sales transactions.

• Engage with market customers in a friendly & personable manner. 
• Stay current with product knowledge.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $16.00 - $18.00/hr

Benefits: Employee discount, mileage reimbursement

Schedule: Pick-up/Load product & booth materials 1st & 3rd Friday before market. 1st & 3rd Saturdays at KCC Farmers’ Market. Early morning shift - 5:30am to 1:30pm (includes set up and break down).

Work Location: Mānoa Honey & Mead (930 Palm Place, Wahiawa, HI) and KCC Farmers’ Market (4303 Diamond Head Rd, Honolulu, HI)
