Job Title:
Data Analyst/Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst/Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing daily accounting staff functions, analyzing financial data, preparing reports, ensuring accuracy in inventory management, and some cost accounting. Responsibilities:
1. Analyze financial data and prepare reports.
2. Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
3. Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation.
4. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into cost-saving opportunities.
5. Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making.
6. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities related to inventory management.
7. Prepare various tax filings
8. Assist and review daily accounting staff functions - AR & AP

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Staff Accountant, or similar role.
3. Strong proficiency in Excel and financial software.
4. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
5. Knowledge of inventory management principles and accounting practices.
6. Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
