We are looking for a full-time CDL A Container Hauler for the following job duties:

• Drive tractor trailer with a capacity of more than three tons and usually with more than six wheels to transport materials to and from specified destinations.
• Operate shuttles to move trailers from building to building, staging area, and from various loading dock doors.
• Receive instructions via text/call and perform trailer shuttling to accommodate logistical needs.
• Perform daily maintenance checks of shuttle trucks and report any malfunctions to the garage.
• Document all trailer moves on daily move sheets and submit to the shipping office upon shift completion.
• Fuel the truck as needed.
• Couple and uncouple tractor trailer units.
• Connect and disconnect brake lines as needed.
• Perform safety inspections of the trailer according to DOT regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

You would be great for this role if you have these qualifications:

• Possess and can maintain a CDL A license.
• Have a clean abstract/MVR.
• Have valid TWIC & DBIDS cards.
• Have a valid DOT medical certificate.
• Can stand, walk, climb into and out of trailers virtually the entire shift.
• Can lift up to 50 pounds.
• Can work inside or outside in all weather conditions.
• Can work in environments with moderate noise.
• Are okay with occasionally being exposed to cleaning chemicals.
• Can work effectively in a team environment.
• Can work a flexible schedule including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
