A local electric supply company is seeking a Warehouse Person to join their team and help with the day-to-day duties of their busy warehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for recording received and distributed items, operating forklifts, and assembling customer orders.

The ideal candidate will have 1 month of related work experience and be willing to receive training on warehouse safety.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm

Location

Kailua-Kona, Big Island

Pay

$25 an hour

Responsibilities

• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Operate vehicles such as forklifts and trucks.
• Sort items on racks by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assemble customer orders.
• Compile worksheets or tickets for customer specifications.
• Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.
• Maintain warehouse inventory records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 month of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
