Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to join their team and play an integral role in supporting their human resources department. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining employee records, managing the new hire onboarding process, and answering inquiries regarding policies, processes, and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have previous HR experience, have a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$18 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and respond to incoming emails and inquiries regarding policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Focus on administrative tasks and ensure smooth operations within the HR department.
  • Manage the HR case management tool to accurately capture, track, and follow up on inquiries.
  • Understand the scope of services, research inquiries, and escalate issues to the appropriate support level as needed.
  • Utilize professional and customer-focused resources to ensure quality customer service.
  • Manage the onboarding process, from communication with new hires to sending out new hire documents and ensure timely completion of I-9 forms and e-verify.
  • Handle DE transactions and records associated with personnel changes.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and employment forms.
  • Ability to research and resolve inquiries effectively.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in managing onboarding processes and maintaining personnel files.
  • Proficiency in using HR case management tools and other relevant software.
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deliver high-level customer service while maintaining confidentiality.
