Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced temporary Grant Manager to join their team. In this role, you will help secure and manage funding opportunities to support projects and initiatives. This is a long-term temporary position that will last a minimum of 1 year with the possibility of extension at a max of 2.5 years.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grant management and a passion for the travel and tourism sector.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Honolulu, Oahu

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential grant opportunities relevant to the travel and hospitality industry.
  • Develop and write grant proposals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manage the grant application process, including submission, tracking, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and documentation for grant applications.
  • Monitor and evaluate grant-funded projects to ensure compliance with funding requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all grant activities and communications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with grant-making organizations and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on grant activities and outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, federal, state, or county grand administration, or related field.
  • Previous experience in planning, directing, managing, monitoring, and evaluating projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
