Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Reporting and Compliance Manager to join our client's team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our client's financial reporting processes are robust, accurate, and compliant with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for maintaining the integrity of financial data.

This position will potentially be hybrid.

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$80,000 to $90,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.
  • Serve as administrator for licenses and permits software.
  • Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance and streamline financial reporting processes.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit processes.
  • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and ensure the company's compliance with these changes.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and insights to senior management based on financial data analysis.
  • Manage and mentor a team of financial reporting professionals, fostering a culture of accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree in accounting.
  • Minimum 5 years of business/accounting experience.
  • 10-key by touch required.
  • Knowledge of GAAP.
  • Certified Public Accountant a plus.
  • Microsoft Office products experience with proficiency in Excel required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Self-directed; able to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
