Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Controller to join their team and manage the company's financial operations. In this role, you will provide leadership to the accounting team and support strategic decision making.

The ideal candidate will have previous financial management and leadership experience and preferably speak both English and Japanese.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay

$100,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the financial operations of the company.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team.
• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and present accurate financial reports.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in financial management and leadership roles.
• Proficiency in speaking Japanese is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage, motivate, and lead a team.
• Ability to problem-solve and multitask.
