Job Description

A reputable technical solutions company is seeking a Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk to join their team and support functions related to accounts payable, receivable, and billing processes. In this role, you will ensure the accurate handling of accounts payables and transactions while maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualified candidates should have at least 2 years of previous experience with accounts payables.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$20 to $25 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain accounts receivable records and ensure accuracy in processing.
  • Manage payment processing workflows, ensuring timely and precise record-keeping.
  • Prepare, issue, and track invoices for employees, contractors, and external partners.
  • Communicate with clients to clarify and resolve billing discrepancies through various channels.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of bank accounts to verify financial integrity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payables.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment state and federal background check.
