Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join their team and provide essential support in an industrial office environment. This position involves handling phones, coordinating service requests, tracking vendor invoices, and assisting with administrative tasks during an upcoming office systems transition.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of previous office or administrative experience and be comfortable working in an environment where field and office operations overlap.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm

Location

Kalihi, Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$23 to $24 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls; take and relay messages as needed
  • Log service requests and trouble calls using internal software
  • Review and match vendor invoices for accuracy and prepare for processing
  • Organize, maintain, and update digital and physical files
  • Coordinate with field staff and management to ensure efficient documentation and communication
  • Assist with daily office operations to ensure efficiency

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of office or administrative experience, preferably in home service, construction, or similar industry.
  • Previous experience in ServiceBox is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Comfortable working with basic office equipment (printer, phones, copier, etc.).
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
