Job Description

A local mechanical contracting business is seeking an Administrative Assistant & Dispatcher to join their team to help ensure smooth operations within the company and with their clients. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating schedules, assembling reports, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of administrative experience.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$45,000 to $55,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage schedules, appointments, and meetings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Assemble reports, filings, and documents.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Prepare and modify correspondences, reports, and memos.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems.
  • Assist with various dispatch duties including answering phones, dispatching calls, and assigning work orders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of administrative experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with dispatching software and procedures is a plus.
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required by client for this position. This is not an ALTRES Staffing requirement.
