Domestic Violence Action Center is seeking a Receptionist to help support survivors of Domestic Violence.

This is a full time position M-F 8:30-4:30pm and includes:

Some Qualifications and Responsibilities inclulde;
- High School diploma or associate degree or higher preferred with minimum of 2 years accounting or office administration.
- Must be organized, able to multi-task and prioritize job assignments.
- Must possess good written and oral communication skills, computer knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Answer telephone in a courteous manner, route calls, or take messages accurately, efficiently, and appropriately.
- Greet visitors in a courteous manner and direct clients to the waiting area. Maintain the visitor log and badges.
- Data entry into computer for compilation, reporting, and program analysis.
- Keep agency and administration files pertinent to the front desk current by filing as assigned.
- Pick up agency mail from agency post office box. Process incoming mail and forward to the appropriate staff. Handle afternoon mail drop off to post office box on Merchant Street. Handle all outgoing and incoming faxes; route to appropriate staff or department.
- Key operator for mail room equipment; copiers, postage meter, etc.
- Inventory office and staff supply needs for ordering and purchasing.
- Receptionist reports to the HR Specialist.
