Position description: 

 

·         Assist Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in completing assigned projects.

 

·         Draft topographical maps and/or display exhibits to assist the Land Surveying department.

 

·         Assist Land Surveyor with drafting support for Boundary Lot closures.

 

·         Assist Land Surveyor with researching legal documentation and record maps regarding project site’s property boundary limits and easements.

 

·         Manage and organize CAD files.

 

Basic requirements:

 

·         3 - 5 years’ experience of Land Surveying drafting (strongly preferred).

 

·         Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite applications (strongly preferred).

 

·         Any Working knowledge any other CAD software such as Bentley Microstation, ArcGIS, Calrson Software (strongly preferred).

 

·         Prior working experience in federal, civil engineering CAD related projects (strongly preferred).

 

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

·         Strong attention to detail.

 

·         Ability to work extended hours, including after hours and/or weekends (when required).

 

·         Maintain a current driver's license in good standing.

 

·         Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
