Domestic Violence Action Center is looking for our next Domestic Violence Trainer.

Some Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service or other related field. 
• Experience and comfort with public speaking and training other professionals. Be extremely knowledgeable about intersecting challenges experienced by communities facing barriers and the realities of working in the social services field.  
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Must be organized and punctual. 
• Must have access to an insured vehicle and be willing to travel to neighboring islands to conduct trainings.
• Facilitate training on intersections of domestic violence and substance use to direct service programs statewide, including travel to neighboring islands.
• Tailor training content to audience setting and role to ensure content and delivery is applicable to their work.
• Answer questions and aid in follow up debriefing and consultation with training participants after training is completed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
• Reports directly to the Program Manager.
