Communication Coordinator, St Anthony School, Wailuku The Communication Coordinator oversees, monitors, and utilizes the school website, social media, and other communication channels to promulgate the mission, activities, events, and stories regarding the school. The Coordinator assists with efforts to recruit and retain students through messaging and outreach to the community
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Furthers the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church and the propagation of the Catholic faith. 2. Oversees the school website, social media sites. Posts information, monitors contacts, and responds to inquiries.
3. Works with other school personnel to obtain information and report on student and school events and activities.
4. Assist the Administration to develop and maintain strong relationships with families, alumni, donors, and other stakeholders.
5. Assist with promoting the school and students to families and the greater community
6. Assist with the development and distribution of media releases
7. Perform other duties as assigned by the administration
Other Job Requirements:
Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling and moving items on occasion
Schedule Requirements: Flexible hours. Entails periodic evening and weekend work
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. If Catholic, must have receive full sacramental initiation into the Church. 2. Must have a basic understanding and acceptance of Catholic School philosophy, goals and objectives 3. Must work cooperatively school and parish staff, and all stakeholders. 4. Must have the following education training and experience:
a. Experience and fluency with social media, managing digital content, and word processing programs.
b. High school diploma
