Job Description: The Communication Coordinator oversees communication both internal to the
parish and outside to the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Production: Create engaging videos that capture the essence of our parish and its events.
Photography: Document parish events through vibrant and meaningful photography.
Sunday Mass Coverage: Record and edit videos of homilies during Sunday masses, capturing
the heart of our worship.
Website Management and Design: Maintain and enhance our parish website, ensuring it
reflects the welcoming spirit of St. Ann.
Graphic Design [Newsletter]: Utilize your artistic skills to create visually appealing graphics that
resonate with our community and values.
Social Media Innovation: Be a creative force in promoting the gospel on various social media
platforms, finding new ways to engage and inspire.
Qualifications:
Good understanding of the mission of the Church.
Has a passion for storytelling and communicating religious messages.
Is skilled in video and photo editing, graphic design, and website management.
Possesses a creative mindset, especially in digital and social media spheres.
Enjoys working collaboratively in a faith-based community.
Position Type: Part-time, approximately 15 hours a week, $16 per hour
Education / Experience:
BA or BS degree preferred. AA or AS degree or life experience equivalent required.
Experience in a communications role.
Familiarity with church/parish values and priorities.
