Position description: 

 

·         Assist Professional Civil Engineering in completing assigned projects.

 

·         Draft topographical maps and/or display exhibits to assist the Civil Engineering department.

 

·         Assist Civil Engineer with drafting support for Roadway Design, Site/Utility Layouts, and Slope/Grading Analyst.

 

·         Assist Civil Engineer with researching as-built conditions for utilities on project site.

 

·         Manage and organize CAD files.

 

Basic requirements:

 

·         3 - 5 years’ experience of Civil Engineering drafting (strongly preferred).

 

·         Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite applications (strongly preferred).

 

 

·         Working knowledge of other CAD software such as Bentley Microstation, ArcGIS, Calrson Software (preferred but not required).

 

 

 

·         Prior working experience in federal, civil engineering CAD related projects (preferred but not required).

 

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

·         Strong attention to detail.

 

·         Ability to work extended hours, including after hours and/or weekends (if required).

 

·         Maintain a current driver's license in good standing.

 

·         Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
