We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to join our team and provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. Duties include answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and organizing documents.

Full-time, 8:00am-4:30pm

$17 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and relay messages.
  • Greet and assist visitors.
  • Manage office common areas, including meeting rooms and kitchen.
  • Organize and file documents.
  • Assist event planning committees with product pricing, decorations, and stakeholder communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma.
  • 0-1 year of related experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Native Hawaiian culture, traditions, current events, and issues is preferred.
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to pass a state/federal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
