A local family-owned meat packing company in Hilo is looking for a Meat Processing Worker to assist with cutting meat into standard cuts in preparation for packaging.?

The ideal candidate will have previous meat processing and/or hunting experience.

Part-time, Monday to Friday

Pay

$17 an hour

Responsibilities

• Slaughter animals in accordance with company standards.
• Trim, clean, and cure meat.
• Ensure meat preparation meets all required sanitation laws.
• Follow all equipment and clothing safety measures.
• Tend assembly lines and perform other duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have meat processing and/or hunting experience.
• Ability to follow directions well.
• Ability to lift 50-100lbs.
• Must be able to work on a team in a fast-paced work environment.
