Full-time, Monday-Friday; 745am-445pm

Location

Hilo, Big Island

Pay

$17 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily showroom opening and closing duties, including managing doors, stocking refrigerators and coffee stations, making coffee, sanitizing high-touch areas, and adjusting lights, music, fans, and ACs.
  • Greet design center patrons promptly and warmly, providing a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Offer basic information on kitchen and bath, home design, and home planning programs and products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained showroom at all times.
  • Provide administrative support to Home Planning Consultants and Kitchen and Bath Designers, including answering and transferring phone calls, taking messages, overseeing clerical tasks, scheduling meetings, maintaining files, and managing office supplies.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative duties such as processing point of sale transactions, ordering replacement parts, handling account payments and deposits, issuing credit notes, scanning documents, and making copies.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by returning phone messages within the business day and responding to urgent emails promptly.
  • Attend product knowledge training regularly and proactively learn about our products and services.
  • Undertake other projects and responsibilities as assigned by the company.

Qualifications

  • Previous sales experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service, handle sensitive information with discretion, set realistic customer expectations, and communicate effectively.
  • Proficient in MS programs and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness in finding solutions.
  • Initiative to recognize gaps in knowledge and seek opportunities to grow expertise.
  • Knowledge of building materials and the construction process from start to finish is a plus.
  • Must comply with a pre-employment drug screening.
