Call Center Representative (106309)#HILO_INDEEDOur client is seeking a temporary Call Center Representative to join their team and handle any calls and inquiries related to power outages, trouble, and property damage. This is a temporary position that will last about 1 year.

Hours
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm (weekends/evenings as needed)
Location
Hilo, Big Island
Pay
$20 an hour
Responsibilities
- Obtain and relay important information.
- Perform timekeeping, typing, filing, logging, data entry and other clerical work.
- Provide clear directions and explanations to the field personnel, customers & contractors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum two or more years of call center customer service experience and/or equivalent training.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced work environment.
- Familiarity with database maintenance.
- Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM.
- Must have internet access and excellent computer skills.
- Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to diffuse emotions and handle irate customers.
- Ability to pass pre-employment state and federal background check and drug test.
