Kulana Malama is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to join our team full-time. This position plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging and meaningful activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and lead activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
- Assist residents in participating in individual and group activities tailored to their needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with the Recreation Coordinator to develop new and exciting programs.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during activities.
- Document resident participation and progress.
Qualifications:
- CNA Certification required. (May be NA Trained, and willing to take Prometric Exam for State Certification)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creative and enthusiastic approach to engaging with residents.
- Ability to work weekends is a must.
