Warehouse Night - Forklift Operator

• Ensure all received product and finished goods from production are put away properly in the warehouse following the Storage and Handling SOP
• Ensure product is rotated using FIFO (First In, First Out) method following the Storage and Handling SOP
• Ensure raw material requests from production are completed and delivered to production in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate appropriate use of the RF gun for receiving, relocating, transferring, and replenishing product.
• Demonstrate appropriate use of company software system to look up product information.
• Understand and maintain company allergen program following the Allergen Control Policy
• Ensure that all operations are completed safely following Palama’s Warehouse GMP’s and HACCP requirements.
• Work with inventory control personnel to resolve inventory accuracy issues.
• Provide staffing coverage for other warehouses as needed during PTO’s, schedule changes and lunch breaks.
• Assist with the receiving process as needed.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean and orderly
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Forklift certified. Must have 2 years of forklift experience required.  
• The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
